Nari ran three furlongs in 38sec. Dananz and Bob Adea covered half a mile in 52sec ; Matouree, three furlongs in 40see : Diabolo, half a mile in 50sec ; Brookong, half a mile in 53sec: Bobcilder, half a mile in 511 sec ; Obi and Flavian did the same : King’s Ransom ran a mile in I min 52sec; Apple Pie, half a mile in 54sec.

WINNING OWNERS

Wanganui, Feb. 27. The weather is fine and the tracks are in good order. This •norning Lady Medallist and Madam Madcap ran six furlongs fast. The former with a light boy up bad ,the best of matters. North-Eas f and St. Bill did a solid round. ' Miss Mischief went, twice round solid, and Peirene did five furlongs attractively. Vice-Admiral and Circuit xnade a strong pace. Dear- , est sljpped over seven furlongs with St. Felix unextended, the former doing very well. Kopu and Ngakau galloped half a mile fast, when the latter stopped, Kopu going on ’ for another round at a solid pace. Astraea covered two circuits strong ly. Grandee sprinted half a mile • nicely. Seldom is scratched for the Hack , Hurdles.
