RIFLE-SHOOTING.
The Okawa Rifle Club met on the Roy’s Hill Rifle Range on Wednesday and fired the first shoot of I a series of matches for a gold medal and trophies, conditions, ten shots and a sigh ter at 900 and 1000 yards. A prevailing tricky rear wind and .hazy light, somewhat baffled the marksmen, and made shooting difficult. Following are the scores:—
