ARMOURS LARD REFINERY. (Received 20, 8.5 a.m.) New York, Feb. 19. Fire in the Armour Company’s 1 stockyards at Chicago destroyed the lard refinery buildings. The loss ! is heavy. The huge quantities of : grease threatened a great conflag- | ration. | WAREHOUSE IN AUCKLAND. ' [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] | Auckland, Feb. 20. ! The damages by fire to Messrs. ! Hutchinson Bros’, warehouse, in Little Queen street, are estimated at £W»O, covered by insurance in the Royal. HOUSE AT ELLESLIE. Auckland, Feb. 20. A house containing six rooms, one of the Government worker’s homes at Ellerslie, was destroyed by fire, this morning. The house was unoccupied. The cause of the fire is unknown. The damage is estimated at £5OO. '
