IMPERIAL PARLIAMENT.
THE HOME RULE ISSUE. ASQUITH ADVISED TO WAIT. [PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT.] London, Feb. 18. Mr. Frank O’Donnell, in a letter to the “Times,” declares that whatever merits, or demerits, the payment of members and of election expenses may have, it would emancipate Ireland from the domination of American dollars and weaken the Irish League’s influence. Home Rule should be submitted at a free election, which would be above the dictation of an oppressive machine and of foreign funds. He advises Mr. Asquith to wait until the Irish constituencies render a free vote, and declares that Mr. Redmond’s guarantee uf finality is worthless.
