DEATH OF C. H. NETTLETON.

INQUEST. The acting-Coroner, Mr. H. W. Brabant, held an inquest this morning in Napier concerning the death of C. H. Nettleton, whose death we reported yesterday. A verdict was returned in accordance with the evidence and medical testimony as follows:—“That on 14th February inst., deceased, Charles Henry Nettleton, was driving a cart along Spencer road, when a shaft came out of the harness and the horse as it swerved, struck the fence and deceased either jumped or fell out on his face and was rendered unconscious. He was at once taken to the Napier Hospital where he died on February 15th, death being due to cerebral hemorrhage, following on a fracture of tne base of the skull, the said compression being caused by an accidental fall on February 14th.”
