MAILMAN DROWNED. (Received 7, 10.45 a.m.) Brisbane, Feb. 7. Tinkell, the mailman at Lowe Bay, was crossing a flooded creek near Gayndah, when the buggy capsized and the man and his horse w’ere drowned. RAIN IN VICTGItTA. Melbourne, Feb. 7. Two ami a-half inches of rain fell at Prahran in 25 minutes.
