ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

Wellington. Feb. 6. As the coastal steamer Mana was leaving the wharf on Saturday night a woman named Hannah Litrle jumped into the harbour. She was rescued by a sailor, and this morning was charged with having attempted to commit suicide. She was convicted and ordered to come no for sentence.
