Rudd and his trainer, McLeod, have taken up their quarters in Hastings. The champion looks ss fit as the proverbial fiddle for his engagement with Blackmore tomorrow evening. The booking of reserved seats has been very large, and everything points to a parked house. Tombs' orchestra widll be in attendance to provide 'music that hath charms.'’ etc., between the bouts. The following officials have been appointed for the carnival: Chairman, Mr. 1,. De Pelichet : timekeepers, Messrs Ellingham and Matheson ; official seconds. Messrs. Donovan and Jaeger.
