STABLE AT THE HUTT
HACK RACER SUFFOCATED
M eliington, Jan. 23. The stables attached to the Provincial Hotel at Upper Hutt were destroyed by rire during Satti rd iv night. Amongst the stable inmates was Zealand, who had won the Ruapehu Handicap at Trentham during the afternoon, but Buick’s gelding was got out uninjured. A hack racer belonging to Vavasour. of Blenheim, was suffocated.
