NAPIER CLUB. There was a good attendance on this club’s green on Saturday afternoon. Tea was presided over by Mrs. J. T. Williamson. NORTHERN ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENT.

FINAL FOR ( HAMPION RINKS AND PAIRS.

Auckland, Jan. 14. The weather was beautiful for the finals of the champion rinks and pairs to-day. There was an attendance of about 7i*). The two rinks left in to fight out the finish for the rinks were as follows: — Ponsonby - Harking, Crabtree, Smith. Parsons. Onehunga - Ramsay. Clarke, Wright. Mclntosh. The latter team led from the jump and won by 17 to 14. In the pairs Martin (of Gisborne) won in the last head after a great go with Monro (of Thorndon). This afternoon the tournament was brought to a conclusion with a social function, at which the prizes won during the tournament were presented. A 13 rink match between th« visitors and Auckland was won by Auckland by 306 points to 266. Onehunga defeated Ponsonby in the final of the rink match by 21 Joints to 11. Turangnnui defeated Thorndon in th. pairs match by i 19 points to 17.
