SUDDEN DEATHS.

[feb press association.] Christchurch, Jan. 7. Mrs. Edith Fanny Perkins, aged 42, who resided with her husband and family at Heathcote, died suddenly this morning.' She had been in poor health for some time past, but had not been confined to her bed. This morning early she - was up and about as usual, and about 6.30 a.m. she fell down on the floor of her residence and died.

William Scott, aged 74, a retired farmer, residing in Stewart-street, Christchurch, dropped dead to-day. He left home about 9.30 a.m.,and at that time was complaining of pains in his chest and back. He was seen to fall in the farmers’ salevards in St. Asaph street about 12.30 p.m.
