[PER press association.]
Wellington, Jan. 9.
A three-roomed house occupied by George Curtis, and a four-room-ed one occupied by Henry Millsted, both owned by Messrs. Easson and Co., were totally destroyed by fire last night. No furniture or belongings were saved. A gale was blowing at the time, and the house being difficult of access, it was some time before the fire was subdued. Curtis’s furniture was insured for £lOO in the Atlas Office.
