A STRANGE CASE.

FIVE MONTHS UNCONSCIOUS •[per press association.) Auckland, Jan. 9. On the night of August 21 st last, a man named Peter Hallman was. picked up by the police at Newton ' in an unconscious condition, and, was taken to the hospital. Last night about 9 o’clock he died. During the whole of the intervening period of over five months he remained unconscious, having apparently been seized by some form of paralysis. Deceased was 55 years of old, and previous to his illness was employed at Donald’s tannery at Richmond.
