Federal Customs Excise returns for the six months ended December are £6.460,638. The revenue shows a surplus of £680.898.
HEAVY RAINS DISORGANISE TRAFFIC.
Brisbane. Jan. 5. The railway service at Cairns is disorganised by wash-aways. Nearly twenty-eight inches of rain fell at Babinda Creek in two days.
