ARMAMENTS AND MEN.
Tokio, Dec. 30. The Japanese' Government have sold an Abyssinian agent 60.000 stands of arms and 6.000.000 cartridges captured at Port Arthur eluring the Russo-Japanese war. These will shortly be shipped to Jibutil. Great Britain is anxiously enquiring into the matter. RECONNAISSANCE BY AIRCRAFT. (Received 31. 9.10 a.m.) London, Dec. 30. A memo issued by the Army Council urge's offices to keep abreast with aviation developments in the direction of reconnaissance, by means of aircraft.
