CHILDREN S HOME BURNED. New York. December 13. Whils 43 children were praying in a Children's Home at Springfield. Missouri, prior to retiring for the night, a fire started. One child lost its life, but the others were rescued. The structure was gutted. FIRE IN A STORE. Melbourne. December 13. A fire at Maryborough d< st toyed Robertson’s large drapery exhibition and a boot company’s stores, and damaged other buildings.
