Resident Magistrate's Court.— No cases this morning. Rifle Volunteers.—The monthly inspection parade of this company will take place to-morrow evening at six o'clock. The weather to-day has been very inclement. Heavy rain has fallen, and a strong easterly wind now prevails, with a rising sea in the Bay. Road through Seventy Mile Bush. —An amended notice to intending tenderers for the road works required in this locality, will be found in outadvertising columns. Asterope. —The agents notify by advertisement that all claims against. thi u ship must be rendered in duplicate by Thursday next, 12th inst., or they will not be recognised.
