Orlando. —The race-horse Orlando arrived here by the Star of the South this morning. Heavy Rain.—Since our last issue Ave have had nearly two days of almost continuous rain. A vast quantity must have fallen during that time, and we fear we must look for news of damage of a more or less calamitous nature from the interior in consequence. Auckland Sheep Market. —The Auckland sheep market would appear to be very low. At Mr Buckland's sale on the 2nd inst., Napier wethers, fetched 7s 6d each; all offered were sold.. Messrs Carey and Gilles report as follows: —Fat Sheep —Our yards were well filled with fat sheep, all of which found purchasers; Wanganui sheep at 14s to 14s 6d 1* head ; also, Napier sheep ex Star of the South, at 12s 9d to 13s 6d. Lambs—We quitted at 9s 9d to 10s 9d eaoh. Store Sheep are very unsaleable,, and prices are not satisfactory to shippers.
