Malta, Ist March. Denmark has not yet consented to the Conference proposed to be held in London. She demands the evacuation of Schleswig by tho Austrian Prussian troops. The Rigsdag and King both declare their resolution to resist the dismemberment. Kidding in Jutland, is still held by the Prusians as a guarantee for future coupensation.
The English subscription for the wounded Danas in the late engagements are rapidly flowing in. The Archduke Maximilian is expected to arrixe at Paris to-morrow (2nd March.) The trial of the persons implicated in the conspiracy against the Emperor Louis Napoleon’s life has been brought to a sonclusion. Grado and Trabuddu have been sentenced to transportation for life, and the others to 20 years.
The Confederate ram trials have been fixed to take place in May.
