LATER FROM TARANAKI.
The * Abeona,’ Capt. Fairchild, arrived at Onehunga on Wednesday from Taranad, in ballast. She cleared out from New Plymouth for Wanganui, but the wind being adverse she came on to Onehunga. On the day the * Abeona ’ left, a very largo expedition, with a 4 days’ supply of provisions, started from New Plymouth along the coastin a southerly direction. The ‘ Abeona : saw nothing of the ‘ Alexandra,’ and she brings no papers.
