NOTICE TO RTJNKOLDSRS. “IVj'OTICE is Hereby Given that in terms of _L i Regulation XI., Section 5, ot the additional I.nnd Regulations of the Province of AVclliimton, whidi provides that hill rents shall and payable to the Land Commissioner of the District where the Runs arc situated annually during the month of January in each year of occupation, up to tlic 31st of the proceeding Doccmbor, —all Assessments on Runs for the current year will be payable at the office of the Receiver of Land Revenue on and after the Ist of Jamiarn 1802. 1 ’ Xotice is also hereby given that, in consequence of the very great irregularity which has hitherto existed from rnnholders not having paid the assessments due by them respectively within the period stated, the sixth section of the above-men-tioned Regulations, which provides that‘when any arrears of rent shall remain unsettled for any period of three mouths, in that case the said License shall cease aad determine, and the Land Commissioner of the District is thereupon required to notify in the said Government Gazette the forfeiture of such (License, and to let the Run to which it relates by public auction (whereof one mouth’s notice shall be given) to the highest bidder for a term of fourteen years, subject to the condition of these Regulations,’— will be strictly carried into force.
