It is the old cry of our pro-consuls and consuls all over the world. They are either too careless or have no time to make themselves acquainted with the British trade, aiid the methods of doing it. Xo greater proof of this can be given than Lord Ranfurly s .statement that Irish linens ‘he believed, were not to l>o had’ in Aew Zealand, when the market is absolutely flooded with them ”
