The Manawatu Racing Club terminated their summer meeting under most successful conditions to-day. The attendance was estimated at 7000. In the Hurdle Race, the rider of Pushful, I). Watt, was thrown at a hurdle and suffered concussion of the brain. The totalisator investments for the day were £17,734, an increase of £2830 on tile second day last year. For the whole meeting the aggregate was £39,441, as against £31,312 last year, representing a total increase of £8129. Results:—
