THE BLACK FAMILY.
When the Black Family of Musicians appeared in the Theatre Royal some fourteen months ago, the audiences gave them a very gratifying reception, the approbation extended being very marked throughout, and encores being demanded in unmistakeable terms. Tbo Blacks have a special claim to popularity in that they offer opportunities of hearing an excellent class of chamber music. Another point to bo noted is that alUaudienres are treated alike in ihc matter of programmes, getting the best of a varied and extensive repertory. Miss Ncllio Black is an artist above the ordinary, both as a singer and a violinist, and the other members of the family are also jiccomplished, so that it is no trouble for them to put on a bright, high-class entertainment. Tiio plan of seats is now open at Howe Bros.’
