STATE COAL MINE.

[PBEBB ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Friday. At the recent meeting of the Cabinet, at which the question of opening the State coal mine, was considered, it was resolved, that the coal from the mine should be supplied (1) to the colony tor State purposes, (2) to the Admiralty for national purposes, and (3) the surplus to be used to supply householders at a price that would pay the colony and at the same time be reasonable to purchasers.
