ACCIDENTAL POISONING.

fPRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. C. M. Brooke, chemist, with bis son and apprentice, H. K. Brooke, were charged at the Magistrate’s Court today with committing manslaughter by negligently causing strychnine to be mixed with medicine supplied to Amy Sarah Dewey, thereby causing her death. The medicine was prepared in s, mortar previously used for pounding up strychnine and which had been put away uncleaned. The case was partially heard ana Hjourned till Monday morning.
