METHODIST CHURCH.

[PRESS ASSOCIATION,^ AUCKLAND, Monday. The Methodist Conference agreed to transfer the Eev. S. E. Trior to Australia provided a suitable exchange is arranged. It was reported that the Eev. Henry H. Boget had offered himself for foreign mission work for 1905. The Eev. J. S. Smalley for another year and the Eev. William Baumber for one year are to be supernumeraries.

The Eevs. Frank W. Isitt . and Leonard M. Isitt were left without pastoral charge for another year.

The Eevs. J. L. Pinfold and C. E. Beecroft were granted permission to visit England. The Eev. A. B. Chappell was granted permission to rest for another year to pursue his university studies. The request of the Eev. J. Dukes to visit England in 1905 was referred to the Conference of that year. The Eevs. Edgar P. Blamires, William Greenslade, Jonathan 11. Haslam, Adolphus N. Scotter, William K. Tuck, and Eichard Wilson were admitted as ministers in full connection, having travelled four years. The Eevs. George S. Cook, Clarence Eaton and and Amos Header, who have travelled three years, remain on trial. The Eevs. Joseph Belton, Charles E. Godbehear, Ernest D. Patchetl, T. Theodore Thomas, and Walter J. Oxbrow, who have travelled two years, remain on trial.

The Revs. Benjamin J. James, Rugby Pratt, and Arthur J. Seamer, who have travelled one year, remain on trial.

Ifc was reported that the Revs. Cook, Seamer, Scotter, Reader and Pratt had passed with honours. Conference met in representative session, when it was resolved that no alteration be made, in the boundaries 'of! the , Durham-street circuit at present, but that the ques-’ tion be referred to a commission for further consideration.

It was decided to appoint an additional European minister as assistant to the Rev. W. Gittos for Maori mission work. It was resolved that the second draft of stations of ministers be presented on Wednesday.
