NEW ZEALAND TOURNAMENT. (PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, Monday. Tho Polo Association’s tournament was continued to-day. The weather was fine, but overcast, and the ground in excellent condition. Two matches were played, completing the second round in the Saville Cup, and resulting in Manawatu and Auckland winning from Mangaheia (Gisborne) and Rcmuera respectively. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Polo Association was held to-night. It was decided to hold the next annual tournament at Wellington. The following officers were elected : —President, His Excellency the Governor; vicepresident, Mr James Coates (Wellington) ; committee, Messrs Cooper, E. 1). O’Rorke, H. Russell, Allan Strang, and S. Williamson; hon. auditor, Mr E. Bncholz; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr C. J. Crawford. Considerable discussion took place ns to the advisability of increasing the limit of height of ponies to 14 hands 2 inches, and the incoming committee wore directed to take the question into their serious consideration.
