CYCLING.

The committee of the Wanderers’ Bicycle Club met last evening, when final arrangements for the Open Road Pace this afternoon were made. The race will be started at 3 o’clock from the Taradale bridge (below the Recreation Ground). The finish is expected at the southern end of the Marine-parade at about 4. The following officials have been appointed.Judge, Mr E. C. Gold Smith; starter, Mr W. H. Smith; timekeeper, Mr G. J, Muhleisen. The committee request the assistance of wheelmen in keeping the course clear. As the competitors have been training hard, a good race, is expected. “ Carbine ” forwards the following tips for the raceßurton 1, Sutherland 2, Cattanach 3.
