Tbt telegraph,] Dunedin, Monday. There was some unpleasantness at the Ninth Contingent camp yesterday, when some members of returned contingents were brought before the officers in command for signing a memorial to the Bight Hon. Mr Seddon as Defence Minister, setting out that in the opinion of the memorialists mote commissions in the Ninth Contingent should be given to members of returned contingents qualified to act as officers.
