In the negotiations between the Federal Postmaster-General and the Eastern Extension Cable Company the former requires a vital alteration in the clause providing that the agreement be only determinable by mutual consent, and requires farther information respecting the concession as to the exclusive use of the wires. The prospect of giving such a concession is not viewed with pleasure by the company.
