ANOTHER ATROCITY. A SHAbF"FIGHT. CONCEPTION CAMP SEIZED. London, January 26. Two Yeomanry assert that the Boers in December captured a small convoy near Phillipopolis and murdered eight of the native drivers, tying several to the wheels of the waggons and burning them alive. A sharp fight occurred at Trenfontein on the 21st inst. Seven Britishers were killed and 26 wounded, chiefly Yeomanry The Vigilance Committee at the Cape strongly (protest against an amnesty to rebels.
The Netherlands Government admit that the Dutch Red Cross Ambulance now interned in Ceylon abused the regulations of neutrality by carrying the commandants’ letters.
Commandant Beyers, on the 22nd inst, seized the concentration camp at Pietersburg and carried off a large number of the surrenderors. He afterwards attacked Pietersburg, but was repulsed, losing six killed.
