LEAGUE OE WHEELMEN. [by tsliobaph.] Christcuuuou, Monday. The League of Wheelmen held a meeting to-night. The application of Davidson tor reinstatement was approved. It was decided to vote £2O towards the expenses of the rider to represent the League in the Australasian mile and fivemile amateur championships at Sydney in January. Test races over a mile and five miles will be held in Christchurch on Boxing Day in connection with the Christchurch Cycling Club's sports, limited to six riders. In the event of a tie, the three-mile race to decide. Notices were received from the Wanganui, Oxford, and Balclutha clubs withdrawing from the League, and from the Wellington Centre that the Centre had disbanded, F. 13. Wilkins was appointed chief consul of the League for the Wellington district.
