SENTENCE REDUCED.

Berlin, March 31. At the second trial of Lieutenant Eueger, sentenced at Metz for having shot Captain Adams dead, the sentence was reduced to six months' imprisonment.

It will bs recollected that the Courtmartial of the 33rd division in public session sentenced Lieutenant Ruegor, of the 17th Infantry Regiment, stationed at Moersohingen, to 12 years’ penal servitude and dismissal from the army for the murder of Captain Adams of the same regiment. According to published details of the affair. Dr. Eueger, the brother of the accused, felt himself agrieved at some act of Captain Adams. Subsequently, when arrangements were beingmade for a duel, Lieutenant Eueger appeared on the scene and shot Captain Adams dead.
