The object of this new form ol ENDOWMENT ASSURANCE iB to guarantee to the Member that in the event of his death before Maturity of the Policy, hia Widow (or other legatee) shall hiye no anxiety about investing its prooeede, tho Association undertaking to pay INTEBEST AT THE BATE OP FIVE PEE CENT PER ANNUM thereon for 20 years, and then to pay the Sum Aesnred to the family, or as the Member may have directed by his Will. On the other hand, should the Member survive the period for which the Endowment Asßurance was effected, the SUM ASSURED will be paid to him WITH THE ADDITION OP ACCUMULATED BONUSES. EXAMPLE. A man aged 40 next birthday effects a i'AMiLT Trust Policy for 4SSOOO. Aunual Premium £112 for 20 years only. If be dies within the 20 years, his Widow or any person to whom he bequeaths the Policy will at ones receive an income of £100 a year ; the first of such payments being receivable immediately the Claim is established, and a similar payment on caoh of the following nineteen anniversaries of the death of the Member. At the expiry of the 20 years the Original Sum (Two Teodsand Founds) will ie paii to the beneficiary. In the event of the Member living and paying premiums for the first 20 years after issue of the Policy, he will be entitled to receive THE SUM ASSURED (£2OCO) IN CASH, WITH ACCUMULATED BONUSES. In event of the Member being unable or unwilling to continue payment of premiums after the first three years, the Polioy automatically becomes PAID-UP, for a proportionate part of the sum originally Asbured, but without participation in profits. It is difficult to imagine how any form of Policy could inolude more bonefits at bo comparatively low a rate of premium* Briefly, if the Member lives to realise lub Endowment Assuranoe, he can invoßt the proceeds himself; although the Association will arrange to oiler him most favorable terms, if be prefer to leave the amount, or part thereof, with them for another 10, IS, or 20 years. If he dies, the Association promises an even better Investment than he could havo arranged, coupled with Absolute Secuihti. ABTHUB B. GIBSON, District Asent, Tennyson-street, Napier. 955 li. R.
