VICTORIA COLLEGE.
[bt telegraph.] Wkllinoton, Wednesday. At a meeting oE the Victoria College Council to-night it was decided to wait upon the members of the Legislature for the middle district with a view to obtaining their support in the efforts which are being made by the Council to secure Mount Cook or some other suitable site for the University. The Council expressed its disapprobation of the proposal to take ten acres of Wellington College reserve as a site for the University.
