ATTEMPTED WOUNDING.

[by telegraph.] Wellington, Monday. The Suprome Court was occupied until 10 o'clock to-night with the case of Percy Fisher, a young man who was charged with attempting to wound a young woman whom he (although a married man with a family) had been keeping company with, under promise of marriage. The jury returned a verdict of guilty. Prisoner was remanded till the morning for sentence.
