VILLAGE SETTLEMENTS.
ANOTHER FAILURE, j Eeceived Jauuary 25, 10.15 p.m. Adelaide, Wednesday. The last of the village settlements established on the Hurray river has collapsed. It differed from the others in that it was run on similar altruistic lines to " New Australia " in Paraguay. Dissensions arose, and of the 16 original settlera only four remain. They now desire to acquire the settlement as a private undertaking.
