DUEL IN GERMANY.
A CIVILIAN SHOT. Eoteivcd January 13, 9.10 n.m. Berlin, January 12. A sensational duel has occurred at Metz. Some German military officers jostled a civilian named Tillman. The latter raised a stick, and afterwards boasted that he had thrashed the officers, The Court o£ Honor then compelled the senior officer involved to fight a duel at 10 paces. The officer shot Tillman through the heart.
