THEATRE ROYAL.

THE ItfCKAltUri SEASON. There was anothpr bumper hou?e at the Theatre Royal last night, and an enthusiastic reception accorded to all the various artists, who departed 'somewhat from the programme given during the two preceding nights, and in almost every instance encores wove demanded and responded to. Miss Clara Llewellyn was us jiloising as ever iv her selected songs, and the ventriloquist., Mr J. "Win ton, accomplished his ilenid in the most realistic and amusing manner. That wonderful baritone of Mr Hill's, accompanied with such expression, took the audience by storm, and he responded to a vociferous recall. Bliss Klhol lorko, the gay soubrette, met with a like compliment. The first part closed with a sparkling comedietta entitled "Pink Notes." Tn this Mr Harry Richards, in the leading part, kept the house in roars, and the character is one in which he can display all his groat talent as a comedian. Miss Nellie Wilson, as the mother-in-law, playod up to him well, and Miss ' Noni Rickards, as the suspicious wife, also kopt the fun going. Mi9s Katie Kickards in the double part; of maidservant and "the other girl" charmingly sustained the "go" of the piece. Mr James Foreman, tho suspected husband's friend, also played excellently. "Pink Notes" is full of mirth from start to finish, and those who wish to see Mr Harry Kickards at his best should see him in this capital little comedy. Biondi went through his marvellous metamorphoses in his naive way, and astonished the mystified audience again and again. Miss Nellie Wilson elevated her boots cleverly to the accompaniment of comic ditties, and Mr Rickards sang in two or three characters with immense success. Mr Albert -Bellman and Miss Lottie Moore got through their artistic sketch, " A Lesson iv Acting " in the most delightful fashion, and which made one inclined to imagine that the gifted little lady is mado of springs. The excellent patter songs of Messrs Foreman and JVinnan brought a capital all-round programme to a close. . Another great change ©f programme will be given to-night. Biondi will appear in his celebrated operatic extravaganza entitled " Scandal in a Restaurant," in which he impersonates seven different characters. Bellman and Moore will be seen in their original petite drawing room sketch entitled "In Clover." The season terminates positively to-morrow night, and on Saturday afternoon a matinee will be given. On Monday the company appears at Hastings.
