Mr Byrnes lias announced that the trovernment policy was to deal with the Queensland National Bank in a spirit of candor, fairness, and justice. At the same time they would afford the bank, as now constituted, all legitimate aid possible. He said the Government intended to adhere strictly to tho policy of its predecessors in the matter of the separation movement. The Federal question would bo submitted to the electors shortly. No doubt their attitude would largely depend upon the vote taken in NewSouth Wales. If carried this question would be made a real live burning one in Queensland.
