A committee meeting of the WandeierB 1 Blojcle C nb was held last Digbt at the Maionlo Hotel, when the following officers were appointed for the sports meetlag next Wednesday:— Referee, Mr C. D. Kennedy ; umpires, Messrs W, K. Jonrdaln end J. E. Cnwell ; jadgea, Memiß F. Logan, Q, S. V. Wenley, W. Copeland, and E, 0, Gold Smith (oyollntj), J. 0. M'Vay, G. «. Pleroe, and N. Kettle (tnnntog); olerk of oontao, Mr James Canghley ; assistants, Meßßra W. E, Cbapman, 8. Wrlpht, H, R. Morton, J. M'GalD, T. H, Stabbs, and W, J. Reid ; lap aoorera, Messrs W, Eraser, W , A, Smith, and E. Nordon ; starter, Mr John Parker; timekeepers, Messrs F, Howard, S. E. Cooper, J. G. Swan, F. W. Collins ; oletk of results board, Mr 0. N. Firth ; members' steward and Precß steward, Mr John Caoghley. Mr C. Barton (Taradale) was eleoted a member. It wai decided to endeavor to get a pabllo half- holiday for the meeting ontog to the great Interest taken In It generally. The order of events for the programme waa drawn np, end it was decided to loeett a boya (under 18) three- quarter mile baodl* oap, tbe prlzD for wblob will be a trophy offered by Mr A. H. Wllaon, entranoe free and nomination! to dose on the gronod. Other bQßlaeiia waa tranteoted, and tbe meetlDg terminated. The H&wera Cycle Club's sports on Satnrday last wete a gteat sncoess, the remits being ai foilowi : -Half mile hindloap, M. Bennett (35yd»), 1 j E. A. Wall (10yds), 2; time, Imln 9 see. One mile nandlo»p, C Sutherland (toratob), 1 ; M. Bennett (7yds), 2 ; time, 2mlrj 25s :o. Three mile handicap, A. R. Barker (eoratob), 1 ; M. Bennett (180 yds), 2 ; time, 7mla 40aec. Two- mile scratch raoe, J. Sntberland, lj A. X, Bilker, 2 ) E. A. Wall, 3 ; time, smln ll 4 6th ibp, Two -mile (second clan) snatch race, M. Bennett, 1 ; time, smlo 20aec, AH the riders mentioned above have entered for tbe Wanderers' Bicycle Clnb'a sporta next Wednetday, and being in each good form should mßke the raoei very intereating.
