The reports of tbe enbiconimltteea set up by the Wellington Wharf Emplojds' Society Id oonneotlon with the recent nodal Rathetlng in aid of tbe Hawke's Bay relief fond, placed before tbe social committee, showed that while the expenditure bad amounted ta £22 12a 9d, tbe receipt) had totalled £28 17a 9d, leaving a enrplm of £6 5s 9d.
