Dunedin, Tuesday, The Provincial Sessions were opened this morning. The Judge, ln his oharge, said that none of the oases were of a serlouß character, True bills were returned ln all cases except that of Robort Gllmonr, wounding with intent at Arrowtown, Alexander Willlama pleaded guilty to threo charges of housebreaking and sentence was deferred. James Mitchell Brockle pleaded guilty to forgery, and was admitted to probation for twelve months, conditional on payment of the costs of prosecution, James Cameron, aged 21, for theft, was admitted to probation for twolvo months, and Thomas Day, for uteallDg a horse, got 18 months' hard labor. Thomas Barrett waa oonvlobed of brsoklog and enterirg a stable, and sentence wbb deferred. Henry Kuye was acquitted on a charge of breaking Into a dwelling at Ida Valley.
