Smith, The above olub had beautiful weather for the second annual trial, which was commenced on Thursday, and the large number of visitors from all parts of the provlnoe gave a decidedly Caledonian il»V'>r to PoraDgahau. Tho trial ground, lent by Miss K. Roplha, cont&ius a good deal of maunka scrub, whloli, together with a email botjgy creek at the bate of the hill, .polk the obances of not a few dogo.
