The return match between teams ohoaen by tbe president and secretary of the Napier Bowling Clnb was played on Saturday afternoon, and tbe position was reversed this time, tbe secretary winning by 17 points. Eaoh player for the bracelet Is to be nominated by a lady, the game Is to consist of 21 heads, and entries dose on the 19th December. Mr J. B. Fielder Intimated to the committee that he would preßent four Bilver feather budges for competition, the conditions to bB similar to those for tbe Jnno trophies, The president also offered two pairs of bowla to be played for as a pairs tournament by members of the club. Tbe donors of both trophies were thanked by the committee, and the details of the mßtcb6s were discussed. The .committee, before separating, deolded to appoint Mr Bhirley a delegate to confer with delegates from the Blnff-hill nnrt Hafitlogs clnbs reßpeot" Ing the competition for tie penant fl»g, to be played fot by Hastings and the two Napier claba during tbe present season.
