At the cycling carnival the weather was fine and there was an enormous attendance. The' following; were the results of the chief raoes: — Austral c Kelloe, 15yds, 1 ; Walne, 20jds, 2 } Elliott, 160 yd«, 3. Won easily by ten lengths ; time, 4min 29«e0, which is a record for the Austral Wheel lUoo. Five Miles International Soratoh Bsoe : Ken Lews, 1 ; Kuhle, 2 ; Ports, 9. The winner o&nie through with a splendid spurt in the last half lap and won by the length of a machine. Time, 12min 25 4-sth boo.
