The Times refers to the Hamburg dockers' dispute an a combined social and democratic onslaught on capital. News has been received that heavy floods have been experienced at Montserrat (British" West Indies), during whioh 75 people were drowned.
At the wool sales American buyers competed freely, and prices are maintained.
The butter market is steady. Danish hat advanced two kroner.
The consignment of oheese by the Aoiea arrived in excellent condition. South Australian and Went Australian 3 per cents are quoted at 99 each.
