Herald Office. Friday evening. Messrs Nelson Bros, rnoeived the 101. lowing cablegram from their London agents this day :-The frozen meat market is very weak. To-day 'a quotations aro -Beat Canterbury mutton 3Jdperlb, beat Danodiu inutton Md, Napier and North Island mutton 3d perlb. Bales laat week were much below estimate. MeaßW G. H. Viokora and Co. held a very fucoessf nl stock Bale at the Albert Hotel yards this afternoon. Tho following prices were realised :-Good miloh cows, up to five years. «5 10s to eg, springers £3 10a to ei 17s 6d, sceera *3, yearlings 35a 6a to 61, haoka £3 to £4 10s : narness horeeß £5 10a to £6 6a. There waa a large attendance and the salo waa a very brisk one.
