Beeves on ' his quitting office after more than three gears' service as a member of the Executive Council of New Zealand.— lt Is .gazetted that) the regulations under the (Government Life Insurance Act, 18SG, ■have been amended to provide that in cases of insurances effected od the lives of ministers of religion whose nfttnas are <duly registered nnder the Marriage Act, 1380, deductions shall be made from the sates of premium aB follows :— (a) Whole Me insurances, deduction at the rate of 5 per cent pei annum calculated npon the whole premium j (6) endowment inenrances, deduction at the rate of 5 per cent pet. annum calenlated npon temporary insurance, pure premlam only ; (c) doable ' -endowment insurance, bo dednotion. — The Gazette contains a Hat) showing all Qaod wasted in the Pablio Trustee wwier the UnsUimed Lands Act, 1894, up to 31st Mareit last, with the names ot persons believed by the Pabllo Trustee to ihave any interest herein,
